Well hello!

My name is Beth.

I am a strong believer in the power of a good, strong cup o' joe and a lovely novel in hand. I crave the feeling of a springtime rain, summer nights, the smell of old books, and a look of simplicity.

I'm a an 18 year old girl, an identical twin, a writer, an aspiring minimalist, and most of all, a lover of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I firmly believe that growing up is highly over-rated and am doing my best to stay young and carefree. It's not really working.

I read too often and write (or think about writing) almost as often. I currently am working on reworking a novel that's been unfinished for years. My dream is to have it be somewhat readable someday. Maybe.

I blog about books, writing, and music. My goal in life is to keep things simple, lighthearted and feeling like the air after a summer rain. Nostalgia runs through my veins and sometimes I can hardly breathe for the strength of it.

I am a fan of many things, most of which I'll blog about eventually. If you'd like to chat, I'm always up for a rousing discussion!
